the virtuoso and only Latino string quartet based in Philadelphia, formed by Adriana Linares, Carlos Rubio, Luigi Mazzocchi and Jesus Morales. The Dalí Quartet blends a unique mix of traditional string quartet repertoire with Latin American chamber music to create an extraordinary concert experience, which promises to take its listeners on an eclectic journey of rhythm and sound. Harpist Eduardo Betancourt
talented Venezuelan musician that has traveled around the World with his original style to play the Harp. He has played with famous artists such as: Ilan Chester, Simon Diaz, Oscar D' Leon, Raynaldo Armas, Huascar Barradas, among others, Eduardo also worked with Cuban Trumpet Luis "Papo" Marquez, in a especial musical tribute to Maestro Arturo Sandoval. In 2006, he joined Gilberto Santa Rosa and Rafael "El Pollo" in their international tour. He also joined Maestro and pianist Edward Simon on his work "Venezuelan Suite". He represented Venezuela in the first "World Harp Festival" in La Asuncion, Paraguay and in the "IV World Meeting of Harpist" and "Festival America en Cuerdas" in Argentina along with maestro Maraiano Gonzalez (Paraguay) and Edmar Castañeda (Colombia).
Venezuelan Expressions is going to be a performance, full of energy and traditions, a great opportunity to learn about Venezuela and about some outstanding Venezuelan citizens that work diligently to promote the culture, roots and traditions of their homeland.
